Trinity's Losing Streak Is No More Thanks to Wes Dresselhaus
Wes Dresselhaus helped snap Trinity's eight-game losing streak dating back to last season. On Friday Dresselhaus rushed for 190 yards and two touchdowns, good enough to set a new career-high in rushing yards in the process.
Trinity's first victory this season bumped their record up to 1-7. Dresselhaus and Trinity are taking a road trip to challenge Mt. Shasta at 7:30 p.m. on Friday.

Lewis Crumwell Turns in Season-Best Effort
On Friday, Modoc got the W thanks in part to Lewis Crumwell playing the best football he has all season. Crumwell's rushing production has been exceptional as that marked his fifth straight game with at least 107 rushing yards.
For the season, Crumwell has run in 10 touchdowns while averaging 134 rushing yards per game. He's made a big improvement compared to last season: at this point last year, he had six rushing touchdowns.

Big Game from Horton As Weed Fell 42-32
Weed had to settle for second on Friday, but Marcus Horton sure wasn't going down easily. Nobody could stop Horton as he rushed for 182 yards and two touchdowns while picking up 9.1 yards per carry.
On the year, Horton has averaged 90.8 passing yards per game. It gets even more impressive: after eight games last season, he had three rushing touchdowns. This year he is already up to 20.

Noah Hubbard Goes Supernova in Etna Victory
Noah Hubbard's big game helped extend Etna's winning streak to seven on Friday. Hubbard turned in nothing short of a gem, rushing for 120 yards and a touchdown on only ten carries, while also throwing for 107 yards and a touchdown while completing 72.7% of his passes.
Redding Christian's probably not too fond of Hubbard given he always seems to get the better of them. Hubbard rushed for 134 yards and two touchdowns on only 13 carries, and also picked up 35 receiving yards the last time he and Redding Christian duked it out back in October of 2023.

Nate Downey and Co. Win Seventh in a Row
Etna picked up their seventh consecutive win on Friday thanks in part to Nate Downey. Downey's rushing production has been exceptional as that marked his fifth straight game with at least 113 rushing yards. His longest rush was for an incredible 70 yards.
