Stephenville didn't go easy on the quarterback and picked off four passes before the game was over. Hudson Butchee led the group effort, picking up two of those interceptions all by himself. He has been hot for a while, having also posted six or more total tackles the last 18 times he's played. Kolton Dearth was another major factor on D, picking up a sack and making five total tackles (4.0 for loss).
Stephenville pushed their record up to 11-1 with the victory, which was their sixth straight at home. They've dominated over that stretch too, winning by an average of 47.5 points. As for Hereford, their loss dropped their record down to 8-4.
Stephenville will stay at home for another week and welcome Randall at 7:00 p.m. on Friday. Randall knows how to get points on the board -- the squad has finished with 31 points or more in their past three contests -- so hopefully Stephenville likes a good challenge.
