Leading Flatirons Academy to victory were Brandon Ewing and Parker Wilson. Ewing en route to 18 points along with six boards and four steals, while Wilson almost dropped a double-double with 11 points and nine rebounds. Wilson is also on a roll when it comes to field goal percentage, as he's posted one of at least 50% in the last six games he's played. Another player making a difference was Jackson Schulz, who posted nine points and eight rebounds.
Flatirons Academy smashed the offensive glass and finished the game with 17 offensive boards. They easily outclassed their opponents in that department as Dawson School only five offensive rebounds.
Despite the defeat, Dawson School saw an underclassman step up: sophomore Milo Richtel on his way to 27 points. As a matter of fact, that's the most points Richtel has scored all season. Dylan Love also deserves some recognition as he scored his first points of the season.
Flatirons Academy's win bumped their record up to 12-6. As for Dawson School, they are on a four-game losing streak that has dropped them down to 7-11.
Flatirons Academy wasted no time getting back out on the court and has already played their next match, a 73-59 victory against Front Range Christian on the 20th. As for Dawson School, they have also already played their next contest, a 49-25 win against Gilpin County on the 21st.
