Adriane Garza Delivers Best Performance of Season
On Friday, Mitchell got the W thanks in part to Adriane Garza playing the best football he has all season. Garza rushed for 221 yards and four touchdowns, and also threw for 113 yards and a touchdown on only ten passes.
Mitchell's victory ended a three-game drought on the road and puts them at 3-4. Garza and Mitchell will take on Amherst at 5:00 p.m. on Friday.

Hill Came Up Big in Hershey's 40-30 Win
Winning always takes teamwork, but on Friday Rhodee Hill stepped things up a notch to give Hershey the 'W'. Hill was dynamite, making 21 total tackles (1.0 for loss). He showed off some serious burst, turning on the afterburners on one carry for 50 yards.
Gordon-Rushville's probably not too fond of Hill given he always seems to get the better of them. When Hill last faced the Mustangs back in October of 2023, he picked up 0.5 sacks and made 15 total tackles (2.0 for loss).

Jacob Bosshamer Turns in Season-Best Performance
Kearney Catholic came up short on Friday despite Jacob Bosshamer delivering his best game to date. Bosshamer threw for 373 yards and five touchdowns while completing 72.4% of his passes.
Kearney Catholic's loss ended a seven-game streak of wins at home dating back to last season and dropped them to 6-1. Bosshamer and Kearney Catholic will face off against Hershey at 7:00 p.m. on Friday.

A Season-Best Effort from Atreyu May Leads Kearney Catholic over Mitchell
Kearney Catholic came up short on Friday despite Atreyu May delivering his best game to date. May picked up 136 receiving yards and two touchdowns. He showed off some serious burst, connecting on a big catch for 60 yards.
