Winning is always nice, but doing so behind a season-high score is even better (just ask Pampa). They blew past the Borger Bulldogs 77-35 on Tuesday. Given the Harvesters' advantage in MaxPreps' Texas basketball rankings (they are ranked 377th, while the Bulldogs are ranked 1232nd), the result wasn't entirely unexpected.

When it comes to explaining why Borger lost, don't look at Tahqulin Brooks. Despite the final result, he dropped a double-double on 21 points and 11 boards. That was a full 60% of Borger's points, marking the 13th time in a row he's posted more than a third of the team's points.

Pampa has been performing well recently as they've won nine of their last 12 matchups, which provided a nice bump to their 16-10 record this season. The wins came thanks to their offensive performance across that stretch, as they averaged 54.3 points per game. As for Borger, they are on an 11-game losing streak that has dropped them down to 2-17.

Both squads will have to hit the road in their upcoming games. Pampa will face off against Hereford at 7:30 p.m. on Friday. Borger has already played their next game (against Dumas), but no score has been uploaded at the time of writing.
