After having lost a blowout in their previous game against Sound Christian, North Beach was happy to have turned things around on Friday. They blew past the Lake Quinault Elks 63-18. The Hyaks' offense stepped up their game for this one, as that was the most points they've scored all season.

North Beach's success was the result of a balanced attack that saw several players step up, but JJ Eastman led the charge by going 10 for 20 on his way to 20 points and six steals. The team also got some help courtesy of Sonny Terrel, who went 8 of 13 on his way to 16 points and four steals.

North Beach was working as a unit and finished the game with 16 assists. That's the most assists they've managed all season.

North Beach's victory bumped their record up to 2-5. As for Lake Quinault, their defeat was their sixth straight on the road dating back to last season, which dropped their record down to 1-4.
