On Thursday, St. Cloud humbled Edgewood with a 87-18 victory. The contest was pretty much decided by the half, when the score had already reached 54-12.
Leading St. Cloud to victory were Alex Springs and Josiah Cotto. Springs scored 13 points along with 5 rebounds and 4 steals, while Cotto scored 16 points. Another player making a difference was Daevon Williams, who scored 10 points along with 5 rebounds.
The win makes it two in a row for St. Cloud and bumps their season record up to 2-0. As for Edgewood, this is the second loss in a row for them and nudges their season record down to 0-2.
Both squads will have to hit the road in their upcoming games. St. Cloud will challenge Harmony at 7:00 p.m. on Friday. Harmony and St. Cloud are at an even 5-5 over their past ten head-to-heads. Edgewood's road trip will continue as they head out to face Merritt Island Christian at 8:00 p.m. on December 1st.
