The match between Souhegan and Hollis-Brookline last week put some strain on the scoreboard; in fact, with a total of 90 final points, it was the highest scoring contest in the power rankings for the week. Victory was within reach, but Souhegan ultimately lost 48 - 42 to Hollis-Brookline. Souhegan fell despite improving upon an already solid 38-point performance the game before.

The battle between Bedford (ranked 7th in the power rankings) and Manchester Central (ranked 17th) turned out to be a somewhat underwhelming competition. Bedford earned a pretty comfortable 26 - 6 victory over Manchester Central. As a result, Bedford rose two spots in the power rankings.
Upcoming Drama
The big showdown in the power rankings this week is between Exeter (6th in the power rankings) and Goffstown (4th). The last time they met, Goffstown walked away with a 17 - 7 win. Can it repeat its success? We'll find out this Sunday.
