The Indian Creek Eagles's game on Wednesday was all tied up 24-24 at the half, but sadly for them it didn't stay that way. They took a 62-56 hit to the loss column at the hands of Annapolis Area Christian. Having run the score up that high, both teams probably have some extra defensive drills coming up.
Defeat or not, Indian Creek got some senior leadership from Aiden Evans who scored 20 points and Sefton Robinson who scored 16 points. Evans scored a full 35.7% of Indian Creek's points, the fourth time in a row he's earned more than a third of the team's points. Kingston Amin was another key contributor, scoring seven points.
This is the second loss in a row for Indian Creek and nudges their season record down to 1-5. As for Annapolis Area Christian, their victory bumped their record up to 1-4.
Both squads are looking forward to the support of their home crowds in their upcoming games. Indian Creek will be home for the holidays to greet Chesapeake Science Point at 6:00 p.m. on Friday. Annapolis Area Christian will have some time to savor their win since their next game is a little ways off: they'll take on Archbishop Curley at 7:00 p.m. on January 5, 2024.
