Southwest Onslow and Washington squared off in some playoff action  on Saturday, but Southwest Onslow had to settle for second. They fell just short of the Pam Pack by a score of  3-2. While the Stallions didn't get the win, they did start the game off strong, beating the Pam Pack  25-13 in the first  set.
 Southwest Onslow wouldn't go down easily and took Washington into a fifth set  but they suffered a heartbreaking four-point loss. Once all was said and done, the final score wound up at 13-25, 25-15, 23-25, 25-20,  15-11.
 Dixie Johnson paced Southwest Onslow's offense, picking up ten kills. Johnson got some help from  Liliana Artiga and her 13 assists.  Julie Padgett controlled things from the service line, finishing with four aces.
Southwest Onslow dropped their record down to 11-10 with the  loss, which was their fifth straight  on the road. As for Washington, the  victory (which was their fourth in a row) raised their record to 12-10.
 Southwest Onslow does not have any more games scheduled as of now. As for Washington, they wasted no time getting back out on the court and have already played their next  matchup,  a  3-0  defeat against Uwharrie Charter Academy on the 21st.
