Clarksville found their leader in sophomore Tiarra Lewis, who went 9 of 20 on her way to 20 points in addition to five assists and five steals. Lewis' evening made it three games in a row in which she has scored at least ten points. The team also got some help courtesy of Jayonna Shirley, who put up seven points and 19 rebounds.
Rising Sun's loss dropped their record down to 4-10. As for Clarksville, their win bumped their record up to 5-8.
Both squads will have to hit the road in their upcoming games. Rising Sun will venture away from home to square off against South Dearborn at 7:30 p.m. on Wednesday. As for Clarksville, they will square off against Salem at 7:30 p.m. on Tuesday.
