Turner has gone 9-1 against Big Foot recently and they'll look to pad the win column further on Thursday. The Trojans will look to defend their home field against the Chiefs at 5:00 p.m. Turner is coming into the contest hot, having won their last 15 games.

Turner's pitching crew heads into the game hoping to repeat the dominance they displayed on Tuesday. Everything went their way against Edgerton as they made off with a 12-0 win. Considering the Trojans have won seven matchups by more than five runs this season, Tuesday's blowout was nothing new.

Maddy Hoenig was a standout: she went a perfect 3-for-3 with three runs, three doubles, and two RBI. That's the most runs she has posted since back in April. Another player making a difference was Maddyn Saunders, who went a perfect 3-for-3 with three RBI, two doubles, and one run.

Meanwhile, Big Foot unfortunately witnessed the end of their four-game winning streak on Tuesday. They came up short against Brodhead, falling 10-4.

Lily Wolf and Claire Patek did some serious damage despite the final result: Wolf went 1-for-3 with one home run, while Patek went 1-for-3 with one home run and two RBI.

Turner pushed their record up to 17-2 with the victory, which was their tenth straight on the road. Those road wins came thanks in part to their pitching effort, having only surrendered 2.4 runs on average over those games. As for Big Foot, their loss dropped their record down to 12-8.

Thursday's contest will be a test for both teams' pitchers. Turner hasn't had any issues making contact this season, having earned a batting average of .334. However, it's not like Big Foot struggles in that department as they've averaged .342. With both teams so capable at the plate, fans should be ready for an impressive hitting performance.

Turner skirted past Big Foot 5-3 in their previous matchup two weeks ago. Will the Trojans repeat their success, or do the Chiefs have a new game plan this time around? We'll find out soon enough.
