Chief Sealth won against Cleveland on Friday with 12 runs and they decided to stick to that run total again on Saturday. Everything went the Seahawks' way against the Washington Patriots as they made off with a 12-1 win. Considering the Seahawks have won six matches by more than six runs this season, Saturday's blowout was nothing new.

Chief Sealth got a great performance from Sam Popelka as he kept things locked down with no earned runs or hits while striking out 12 over five innings pitched. Those 12 strikeouts gave Popelka a new career-high.

At the plate, Chief Sealth let Seth Clark and Nolan Vanbuskirk run wild. Clark scored four runs and stole two bases while going 3-for-4, while Vanbuskirk scored three runs and stole three bases while going 2-for-4. Those three hits gave Clark a new career-high.

Chief Sealth is on a roll lately: they've won three of their last four games. That's provided a nice bump to their 6-3 record this season. Those victories came thanks in part to their hitting performance across that stretch, as they averaged 8.5 runs over those games. As for Washington, their loss was their third straight at home, which dropped their record down to 1-4.

Chief Sealth wasted no time getting back out on the field and has already played their next contest, a 13-3 win against Franklin on the 31st. As for Washington, they have also already played their next match, an 11-1 defeat against Orting on the 2nd.
