Pulaski and Bay Port are an even 5-5 against one another  since May of 2017, but likely not for long. The Red Raiders will host the Pirates  at 4:30  p.m.  on Thursday. Pulaski is strutting in with some hitting muscle as they've averaged 6.2  runs per game  this season.
Having struggled with five  defeats in a row, Pulaski  turned things around against Notre Dame Academy  on Tuesday. They never let the Tritons get on the board and left with  a   3-0  win.
Not much got past  Addison Luebke, who gave up just  two  hits and racked up nine Ks to keep Notre Dame Academy off the board.
 On the hitting side, Pulaski's victory was truly a team effort as four different players contributed at least one hit. One of them was  Kianna Altendorf, who  got on base  in three of her four plate appearances with one  RBI.
Meanwhile, Bay Port waltzed into their game  on Tuesday with two straight wins... but they left with three. They blew past the Golden Raiders 16-0. The result was nothing new for the Pirates, who have now won four contests by eight  runs or more  so far this season.
 Payton Dudra made a big impact no matter where she played. On the mound, she  struck out six batters over  three innings while giving up   no  earned runs or  hits. That's the most  strikeouts  she has posted since back in May of 2024. She was also big at the plate,  going 1-for-3 with two  RBI.
 In other batting news,  Elly Rau and  Hailey Montie did most of the damage at the plate:  Rau  went a perfect 3-for-3 with four  runs, one  stolen base,  and one  double, while  Montie  went 2-for-3 with one  home run and three  RBI. Those  four  runs gave  Rau a new career-high.  Ava Plumley was another key player,  going 1-for-2 with two  runs, one  double,  and one  RBI.
 Bay Port was getting hits left and right  and  finished the game having  posted a batting average of .520. They are  a perfect 3-0 when  they post a batting average of .375 or better.
 Pulaski's win bumped their record up to 5-7. As for Bay Port, they now  have a winning record of 6-5.
 Pulaski couldn't quite finish off Bay Port in their previous meeting  on April 3rd and fell  5-3. Will the Red Raiders have more luck at home instead of on the road?  Come back here after the game to get an analysis of the match and other softball content.
