South Sevier had to kick off their season on the road on Saturday, but they showed no ill effects. They breezed past the Millard Eagles to the tune of 27-0. The Rams pushed the score to 20-0 by the end of the third, a deficit the Eagles had little chance of recovering from.
Leading South Sevier to victory were Bridger Bradshaw and Masen Healey. Bradshaw threw for 230 yards and a pair of TDs, while Healey gained 115 total yards and two touchdowns. Those 230 passing yards gave Bradshaw a new career-high.
South Sevier's defense stepped up as well, laying out the QB seven times. Leading the way was Healey with three sacks.
Both teams are looking forward to the support of their home crowds in their upcoming games. South Sevier will welcome Enterprise at 7:00 p.m. on Friday. As for Millard, they will be playing at home against Delta at 7:00 p.m. on Friday.
