The Bruceville-Eddy Eagles's recent rough patch got a bit rougher on Friday after their third straight loss. They had to suffer through a rough 75-22 loss at the hands of Bosqueville. Bruceville-Eddy has not had much luck with Bosqueville recently, as the team's come up short the last five times they've met.
Bruceville-Eddy lost despite a true team effort on the offense, the best among them being Kalli Speasmaker, who scored two points along with nine rebounds and five assists. Speasmaker is absolutely dominating the steal category: she's posted at least two every time she's taken the court this season. Elaina Mcculloch was another key contributor, scoring six points along with six rebounds and three steals.
Bruceville-Eddy has been struggling recently, as they've lost 12 of their last 15 matches, which put a noticeable dent in their 14-18 record this season. As for Bosqueville, the victory (which was their sixth in a row) raised their record to 16-11.
Both teams will have to hit the road in their upcoming games. Bruceville-Eddy will take on Moody at 5:30 p.m. on Tuesday. Moody is out to stop a four-game streak of losses at home. As for Bosqueville, they will head out on the road to challenge Meyer at 6:15 p.m. on Friday.
