Somerset Academy South Homestead had a senior duo take command as Kas Williams dropped a double-double on 12 points and 14 rebounds and Zachary Reynolds scored 14 points along with seven rebounds and three steals. Reynolds is absolutely dominating the steal category: he's posted at least two every time he's taken the court this season. The team also got some help courtesy of Joseph Colzie, who scored eight points along with five rebounds and two steals.
Somerset Academy South Homestead's victory was their seventh straight at home, which pushed their record up to 13-7. As for Palm Glades Prep Academy, their loss dropped their record down to 3-7.
Both teams will have to hit the road in their upcoming games. Somerset Academy South Homestead won't have much time to rest: their next matchup is against Keys Gate at 7:30 p.m. on January 18th.
