Wolfson is 0-4 against Mandarin since April of 2022 but things could change on Wednesday. The Wolfpack will head out on the road to take on the Mustangs at 5:30 p.m. Wolfson is strutting in with some hitting muscle as they've averaged 12.8 runs per game this season.
On Thursday, Wolfson made easy work of Eagle's View and carried off a 16-1 victory. The win continues a trend for the Wolfpack in their matchups with the Warriors: they've now won five in a row.

Addison Booher made a splash while hitting and pitching. She tossed two innings while giving up just one earned run off one hit. What's more, she posted four strikeouts, the most she's had since back in April of 2025. She was also solid in the batter's box, going 2-for-3 with three RBI, one stolen base, and one run.
In other batting news, Peyton Brown was a standout: she went 1-for-2 with three runs, one stolen base, and two RBI. Addison VanArsdale was another key player, getting on base in all four of her plate appearances with two stolen bases, two runs, and one RBI.
Wolfson hit smart and finished the game with only one strikeout. The team has now struck out at least four batters in three consecutive contests.
The scorekeeper got an easy start on Monday as neither Mandarin nor Clay made it on the board until the eighth inning. The Mustangs skirted past the Blue Devils 4-3. Give some credit to the fans of both teams: the last four times they've met, the home team has come away the winner.
Jazelyn MacMullen spent all eight innings on the mound, and it's clear why: she surrendered just two earned (and one unearned) runs on four hits.
On the hitting side, the team relied heavily on Alanna DeJesus, who went 2-for-4 with one triple and one run. That triple marked the first that she has hit this season.
Wolfson's record now sits at 4-2. As for Mandarin, their record is now 4-5.
Mandarin's pitching crew has a crucial task ahead of them: Wolfson hasn't had any issues making contact this season, having earned a batting average of .411. It's a different story for Mandarin, though, as they've only averaged .251. Will they be able to contain Wolfson's hitters?
Wolfson might still be hurting after the 9-3 loss they got from Mandarin in their previous meeting back in March of 2025. Can the Wolfpack avenge their defeat or is history doomed to repeat itself? We'll find out soon enough.
