Softball Recap: Wednesday's Defeat Ends Kimball's Winning Streak

After some red-hot attacks at the plate in their last three games, Kimball finally came back down to earth on Wednesday. They came up short against the Lodi Flames, falling 11-1. The Jaguars' defeat signaled the end of their four-game winning streak.

Kimball saw two different players step up and record at least one hit. One of them was Karaliya DePerio, who went 1-for-2 with one stolen base and one RBI.

Kimball's loss dropped their record down to 13-5. As for Lodi, they are on a roll lately: they've won six of their last seven matches. That's provided a nice bump to their 13-5 record this season.

We've got plenty of inter-league action coming up soon. Kimball will square off against rival Tracy at 4:00 p.m. on Tuesday. Meanwhile, Lodi is set to challenge their familiar foe St. Mary's at 4:00 p.m. on Tuesday.
