Bennington put another one in the bag  on Friday to keep their perfect season alive. They walked away with  a   10-5  win over the Pius X Thunderbolts. The Badgers have seen this before: they got the W the last time they saw the Thunderbolts, too.
 Hunter Spencer was a standout: he scored a  run while going 2-for-3. What's more,  he posted three  RBI, the most he's  had since back in April of 2024. Another player making a difference was  Layne Boever, who  went 2-for-3 with four  RBI.
 Spencer wasn't the only one making solid contact: Bennington  kept the outfield on their toes and  finished the game with 12  hits. That strong performance was nothing new for the team: they've now  got at least ten  hits in three consecutive  matchups.
Bennington pushed their record up to 13-0 with the  victory, which was their ninth straight  on the road dating back to last season. The  road  wins came thanks in part to their hitting performance across that stretch, as  they  averaged 8.3 runs over those games. As for Pius X, their loss dropped their record down to 5-7.
 Both  teams are looking forward to the support of their home crowds in their upcoming games. Bennington will welcome Elkhorn  at 11:00  a.m.  on Saturday. The Badgers are facing the Antlers at the right time seeing as the Antlers are stuck on  a  three-game losing streak. As for Pius X, they will be playing in front of their home fans against Seward  at 4:30  p.m.  on Monday.
