The North Springs Spartans scored the most points they've had all season to find success on Friday. They blew past Northview 85-30 at home. That 55 points margin sets a new team best for North Springs this season.
It was another big night for Esmer Madesko, who scored 36 points along with three steals. That makes it four consecutive games in which he has scored at least a third of North Springs' points. The team also got some help courtesy of Nathan Lucas, who scored 11 points along with four steals.
North Springs' victory bumped their record up to 6-14. As for Northview, they still haven't won a game yet this season and fell to 0-20.
Both teams will have to hit the road in their upcoming games. North Springs will face off against Greater Atlanta Christian at 7:30 p.m. on Tuesday. Greater Atlanta Christian presents a significant challenge as they come into the match much higher ranked than North Springs in Georgia (Greater Atlanta Christian is ranked 24th, while North Springs is ranked 259th). As for Northview, they will head out on the road to face off against Chattahoochee at 7:30 p.m. on Tuesday.
