Basketball Recap: Calamus-Wheatland Has No Trouble Against Lisbon

After losing to Lisbon the last time they met, Calamus-Wheatland decided to demonstrate that turnabout is fair play. The Calamus-Wheatland Warriors blew past the Lisbon Lions 44-24 on Friday. The Warriors have made a habit of sweeping their opponents off the court, having now won seven games by 20 points or more this season.

Calamus-Wheatland is also on a roll lately: they've won five of their last six matchups, which provided a massive bump to their 12-7 record this season. Those victories came thanks to their offensive performance across that stretch, as they averaged 51.5 points per game. As for Lisbon, their defeat was their fourth straight on the road, which dropped their record down to 8-10.

Calamus-Wheatland will head out to face off against Prince of Peace Prep at 5:30 p.m. on Tuesday. Calamus-Wheatland is facing Prince of Peace Prep at the right time seeing as Prince of Peace Prep is stuck on a nine-game losing streak. As for Lisbon, they will welcome Easton Valley at 6:30 p.m. on Tuesday. Easton Valley will roll in looking for their fifth straight victory, something Lisbon surely won't give up without a fight.
