Two teams were on the hunt for playoff glory, but only the Homestead Broncos walked away with it. They snuck past the Patriots with a 22-17 victory on Friday. Winning may never get old, but Homestead sure are getting used to it with their tenth in a row.
Joshua Townsend continued his habit of posting crazy stat lines, throwing for 165 yards and three touchdowns on only 11 passes.
Despite the loss, Miramar still got an impressive performance from Jordan Jones, who rushed for 108 yards and a touchdown.
Homestead has yet to lose a matchup at home this season, leaving them with a 11-1 record. Those good results were due in large part to their offensive dominance across that stretch, as they averaged 38.9 points per game. As for Miramar, their loss dropped their record down to 8-5.
Homestead has the luxury of staying home another week and will welcome Jones at 7:30 p.m. on December 1st. Jones is coming into the contest hot, having won their last eight games. Miramar does not have any more games scheduled as of now.
