After having lost a blowout in their previous game against Hun, Hill School was happy to have turned things around on Wednesday. They came out on top against the Peddie Falcons by a score of 16-12. With that victory, the Rams brought their scoring average up to 6.2 runs per game.

Meghan Ward was a standout: she went 2-for-3 with three runs, four RBI, and one triple. Another player making a difference was Sammie Faella, who scored three runs and stole a base while getting on base in four of her five plate appearances.

Hill School was getting hits left and right and finished the game having posted a batting average of .412. That's the best batting average they've posted all season.

Hill School's first win this season bumped their record up to 1-4. As for Peddie, they dropped their record down to 2-7 with the loss, which was their ninth straight on the road dating back to last season.

Both teams will have to hit the road in their upcoming games. Hill School will square off against Baldwin at 3:30 p.m. on Wednesday. As for Peddie, they will take on Germantown Academy at 4:00 p.m. on Wednesday.
