 In other batting news,  Colby Jones was a standout: he scored two  runs and  stole a base while going 2-for-4.  Levi Borden was another key player,  scoring two  runs and  stealing a base while going 1-for-4.
 West Morgan  always had someone on base and  finished the game having  posted an OBP of .514. They easily outclassed their opponents in that department as Pennington only posted  an  OBP of  .333.
West Morgan's record now sits at 5-7. As for Pennington,  this is the second loss in a row for them and  nudges their season record down to 7-4.
 Looking ahead, West Morgan will venture away from home to  take on Dora  at 3:00  p.m.  on Saturday. As for Pennington, they will head out to  challenge Vinemont  at 4:30  p.m.  on Monday.
