Bremen's win was the result of several impressive offensive performances. One of the most notable came from Eliana Grubbs, who posted 11 points and seven boards. Grubbs is also on a roll when it comes to steals, as she's now grabbed two or more in the last three games she's played. Kila Foster was another key player, putting up 14 points.
Meanwhile, Glenn came into Wednesday's contest having lost three straight, but that streak is now in the rearview. They enjoyed a cozy 42-24 victory over Argos on Wednesday. Given the Falcons' advantage in MaxPreps' Indiana basketball rankings (they are ranked 152nd, while the Dragons are ranked 317th), the result wasn't entirely unexpected.
Glenn's win came from a few key players Bremen will need to keep an eye on. One of the most notable was Mia Hurford, who scored five points in addition to nine rebounds and four steals. That's the most steals she has posted since back in November of 2024. The team also got some help courtesy of Addison Reese, who earned 12 points and three steals.
Glenn smashed the offensive glass and finished the game with 17 offensive boards. They easily outclassed their opponents in that department as Argos only pulled down two offensive rebounds.
Bremen pushed their record up to 18-2 with the win, which was their fourth straight on the road. As for Glenn, their victory bumped their record up to 13-7.
Rebounding is likely to be a big factor in this contest: Bremen has been smashing the glass this season, having averaged 30.2 boards per game. However, it's not like Glenn struggles in that department as they've been averaging 24.2 rebounds. With both teams battling to corral missed shots, we'll see if one team can grab an edge.
Everything went Bremen's way against Glenn in their previous matchup two weeks ago, as Bremen made off with a 57-34 win. The rematch might be a little tougher for Bremen since the team won't have the home-court advantage this time around. We'll see if the change in venue makes a difference.
