They had to suffer through a rough 39-10 loss at the hands of Sheets Memorial Christian. Abundant Life Christian Academy was in a tough position after the first half, with the score already sitting at 23-2.
Sheets Memorial Christian was led to victory by Kristin Haut and Kayla Burch. Haut almost dropped a double-double on 16 rebounds and nine steals, while Burch dropped a double-double on 23 points and ten rebounds. As a matter of fact, that's the most points Burch has scored all season. Aleah Nixon was another key contributor, scoring two points along with four steals.
Abundant Life Christian Academy's defeat was their fourth straight on the road dating back to last season, which dropped their record down to 0-1. That rough patch could be blamed on the team's offensive performance across that stretch, as they only averaged 4.8 points per game. As for Sheets Memorial Christian, their win ended a six-game drought at home and bumped them up to 2-15.

Victory Christian Academy has now lost eight straight, and the team is hunting for their first win since November 20.
