After losing to Central the last time they met, St. Charles West decided to demonstrate that turnabout is fair play. St. Charles West took their match against Central on Friday 41-27.
St. Charles West started the matchup off right with 20 first-half points. Central wasn't quite able to keep up, scoring 7 to make it 20-7 heading into the break. The offense for St. Charles West continued to do well in the second half, scoring another 21 points to put the game away. The win bumped their record up to 5-2. The loss dropped Central's record to 1-6.
St. Charles West will take on St. Charles at home at 7:00 PM next week. Unlike St. Charles West, St. Charles will be limping in after taking a loss. As for Central, they will face off against DeSmet Jesuit. Central's defense better steel itself: DeSmet Jesuit are averaging 30.14 points per game.
