Twiggs Academy found their leader in underclassman Madison Lavender, who scored 13 points along with 6 rebounds and 3 steals. Lavender is absolutely dominating the steal category: she's posted at least two every time she's taken the court this season. Another player making a difference was Mallory Nobles, who scored 12 points.
Windsor Academy's loss came despite strong showings from Savannah Roberts and Kyndall Bowen. Roberts scored 9 points along with 14 rebounds, while Bowen dropped a double-double on 11 points and 10 rebounds. Bowen scored a full 32.4% of Windsor Academy's points, the third time in a row she's earned more than a third of the team's points.
Twiggs Academy now has a winning record of 3-2. As for Windsor Academy, they still haven't won a game yet this season and fell to 0-3.
