Dupo didn't go easy on the quarterback and picked off three passes before the game was over. It was truly a group effort as Ethan Nelson, Cole Hearty, and Esterlein picked up one apiece. Hearty also set a new season-high mark in total tackles with ten.
Meanwhile, Red Bud came up short against Sparta/Steeleville on Friday and fell 34-22.
Red Bud's loss dropped their record down to 1-4. As for Dupo, their win bumped their record up to 5-0.
