Even though Roanoke Baptist scored an imposing 57 points on Friday, the Christian Community Warriors still came out on top. Christian Community blew past Roanoke Baptist 87-57 on the road. The win made it back-to-back wins for Christian Community.
Multiple players turned in solid performances to lead Christian Community to victory, but perhaps none more so than Seth Roberts, who dropped a double-double on 30 points and 16 rebounds. Grant Doeringer was another key contributor, dropping a double-double on 13 points and 11 rebounds.
Christian Community is on a roll lately: they've won three of their last four matches, which provided a nice bump to their 5-2 record this season. As for Roanoke Baptist, their loss dropped their record down to 0-1.
Christian Community is on the road again on Monday and play against Kingsway Christian at 6:00 p.m. on December 11th. Kingsway Christian is coming into the contest on a four-game losing streak. Roanoke Baptist does not have any more games scheduled as of now.
