Christian Fellowship unfortunately witnessed the end of their three-game winning streak on Tuesday. They fell just short of Sunnydale Academy by a score of 43-40. For those keeping track at home, that's the closest defeat Christian Fellowship has suffered against Sunnydale Academy since January 7, 2020.
Despite their defeat, Christian Fellowship saw several players rise to the challenge and make noteworthy plays. Emma Kate Bradley, who scored ten points along with two steals, was perhaps the best of all. Kylie Babich was another key contributor, scoring 12 points along with five rebounds.
Meanwhile, Wright City's recent rough patch got a bit rougher on Tuesday after their sixth straight loss. They were beaten by Elsberry 68-36. While losing is never fun, Wright City can't take it too hard given the team's big disadvantage in MaxPreps' Missouri basketball rankings (they are ranked 420th, while Elsberry is ranked 150th).
Christian Fellowship's loss dropped their record down to 10-4. As for Wright City, their defeat dropped their record down to 3-8.
