The Show Low Cougars put another one in the bag on Friday to keep their perfect season alive. They skirted past Chinle 42-39. Given Show Low's advantage in MaxPreps' Arizona basketball rankings (they are ranked fifth, while Chinle is ranked 157th), the result wasn't entirely unexpected.
Raquel Wilson was her usual excellent self, scoring 12 points along with 7 rebounds and 5 steals. The match was her fifth in a row with at least ten points. Grace Moore was another key contributor, scoring 7 points along with 9 rebounds.
Show Low's victory bumped their record up to 12-0. As for Chinle, this is the second loss in a row for them and nudges their season record down to 1-3.
