Even though the Inspired Vision EAGLES scored an imposing 61 points on Friday, the Shelton Chargers still came out on top. Shelton took their game against Inspired Vision 71-61. The win made it back-to-back wins for Shelton.
Loss or not, Inspired Vision got some senior leadership from Tyree Sheffield who scored 26 points and Gabriel Kalala who scored 23 points. Sheffield scored a full 42.6% of Inspired Vision's points, the sixth time in a row he's earned more than a third of the team's points. Another player making a difference was Obed Faz, who scored 6 points.
The win got Shelton back to even at 4-4. As for Inspired Vision, this is the second loss in a row for them and nudges their season record down to 1-5.
Shelton will square off against Diamond Hill-Jarvis at 12:00 p.m. on Saturday. As for Inspired Vision, they will be playing in front of their home fans against Lakehill Prep at 9:00 a.m. on Saturday. Lakehill Prep is coming into the game on a three-game losing streak.
