One of the most notable was Mason Tameling, who rushed for 38 yards and one touchdown, and also threw for 100 yards while completing 77.8% of his passes. His passing game has become a key predictor of Ripon Christian's success: the team is undefeated when his passer rating is 100 or higher, but only 1-2 otherwise. Another back making a difference was Lushen Sanders, who rushed for 53 yards and a pair of TDs.
On the defensive side of the ball, a lot of the credit has to go to Ripon Christian's defense and their four sacks. The team can thank three different players for their defensive prowess: Braden Schaapman, Blake Stuit, and Jackson Howell, who each picked up one sack apiece.
Liberty Ranch's win bumped their record up to 11-0. As for Ripon Christian, they now have a winning record of 9-2.
Friday's contest might be decided on the ground. Liberty Ranch has been unstoppable on the ground this season, having averaged 392.1 rushing yards per game.
