Heard scored four points along with 24 rebounds and seven blocks, while Ballard dropped a double-double on 21 points and 15 rebounds. Heard is on a roll when it comes to blocks, as she's now posted two or more in the last five games she's played.
Central of Coosa County's victory was their fourth straight at home, which pushed their record up to 7-5. Those good results were due in large part to their offensive dominance across that stretch, as they averaged 53.8 points per game. As for Thorsby, their loss ended a three-game streak of away wins and brought them to 11-8.
Central of Coosa County will head out on the road to square off against Horseshoe Bend at 4:30 p.m. on Thursday. As for Thorsby, they will be playing in front of their home fans against Comer at 5:30 p.m. on Thursday. Comer is coming into the contest on a four-game losing streak.
