New Foundations lost against the Life Center Academy Warriors back in January, and unfortunately they wound up with the same result on Monday. New Foundations was beaten by Life Center Academy 92-34. New Foundations has struggled against Life Center Academy recently, as their contest on Monday was their sixth consecutive lost matchup.
It was another big night for Mekhi Robertson, who scored 27 points along with eight assists and seven rebounds for Life Center Academy. Those 27 points set a new season-high mark for him. The team also got some help courtesy of Elijah Brown, who scored 21 points along with three steals.
New Foundations bumped their record down to 3-2 with that loss, which was their fifth straight on the road dating back to last season. As for Life Center Academy, the victory was the fifth in a row for them, bringing their record for this year to 10-5.
Both teams are looking forward to the support of their home crowds in their upcoming games. New Foundations will be home for the holidays to greet Liguori Academy at 3:30 p.m. on Wednesday. Life Center Academy won't have much time to rest: their next contest is against Varsity Opponent at 4:30 p.m. on December 19th.
