The Rim of the World Fighting Scots will be playing at home against the Kaiser Cats at 7:00 p.m. on Friday. Both teams come into the game bolstered by wins in their previous matches.
Rim of the World fell on hard times earlier this season, but after back-to-back wins it seems like their luck might finally be changing. They skirted past Carter 20-17.
Rim of the World can attribute much of their success to Christian Granger, who rushed for 120 yards and a touchdown.
Meanwhile, Kaiser entered their tilt with Rialto with two consecutive wins but they'll enter their next game with three. Kaiser claimed a resounding 36-6 win over Rialto on the road. The result was nothing new for Kaiser, who have now won three matches by 20 points or more so far this season.
Kiyel Tyler continued his habit of posting crazy stat lines, rushing for 99 yards and two touchdowns on only ten carries. Tyler hasn't dropped below two rushing touchdowns for three straight games. The team also got some help courtesy of Tyler Tucker, who rushed for 93 yards.
Rim of the World's win bumped their record up to 4-5. As for Kaiser, their victory was their third straight on the road, which bumped their overall record up to 6-3.
Friday's game might be decided on the ground as these two are both standouts in the run game. Rim of the World has been excellent on the ground this season, having averaged 164.5 rushing yards per game. However, it's not like Kaiser struggles in that department as they've been even better at 297.1 per game. It's looking like Friday's contest might have some serious battles in the trenches.
Rim of the World came up short against Kaiser when the teams last played back in October of 2022, falling 21-14. Will Rim of the World have more luck at home instead of on the road?
