Tri-Valley entered their tilt with New Lexington on Thursday with two consecutive wins, and they'll enter their next game with three. They were the clear victors by a 12-2 margin over the Panthers. The result was nothing new for the Scotties, who have now won eight matches by six runs or more so far this season.

Quinton Hindel looked comfortable as he tossed two innings while giving up no earned runs or hits.

At the plate, the team relied heavily on Brady Kaufman, who fired off two home runs, three runs, and four RBI while going 3-for-3. The team also got some help courtesy of Blayne Riley, who went 2-for-3 with three RBI, two runs, and two doubles.

Tri-Valley's win was their fourth straight at home, which pushed their record up to 11-2. The home victories came thanks in part to their hitting performance across that stretch, as they averaged 14.3 runs over those games. As for New Lexington, they now have a losing record of 5-6.
