The Scappoose Indians will look to defend their home court on Friday against the St. Helens Lions at 6:00 p.m. Given that the two teams suffered a loss in their last game, they both have a little extra motivation heading into this matchup.
Scappoose's recent rough patch got a bit rougher on Wednesday after their third straight loss. They received a tough blow as they fell 54-39 to Seaside. The loss unfortunately continues a disappointing trend for Scappoose in their matchups with Seaside: they've now lost six in a row.
Even though the team lost, they still had their share of impressive performances. One of the most dominant came from Colton Sprenger, who scored seven points along with six rebounds and two blocks. That's the first time this season that he posted two or more blocks. The team also got some help courtesy of Quinton Olson, who scored 12 points along with three steals.
St. Helens suffered their biggest loss yet this season on Tuesday. They suffered a rough 54-30 loss at the hands of Seaside. The result shouldn't come as a shock considering that's the fewest points St. Helens has scored all season.
Scappoose's defeat dropped their record down to 7-7. As for St. Helens, they dropped their record down to 8-7 with that defeat, which was their fourth straight on the road.
