There's no place like home for Alisal, who bounced back after a  loss on the road  on Wednesday. Their pitcher stepped up to hand the Rancho San Juan Trailblazers  an   11-0 shutout  on Thursday. With that  win, the Trojans brought their scoring average up to 7  runs per game.
The team  relied heavily on  Micah Smith, who  went a perfect 4-for-4 with three  runs and one  triple. That  triple marked the first that  she  hit this season.  Aaliyah Ruiz was another key player,  scoring three  runs and  stealing a base while going 1-for-3.
 Smith wasn't the only one working in the  hit department: Alisal  kept the outfield on their toes and  finished the game with 12  hits. They easily outclassed their opponents in that department as Rancho San Juan only managed six  hits.
Alisal's victory bumped their record up to 2-3. As for Rancho San Juan, they now  have a losing record of 1-2.
 Looking ahead, Alisal will challenge Palma at 4:00  p.m.  on Friday. Alisal's pitchers better be ready for this one: Palma has averaged an impressive 6.8  runs per game this season. As for Rancho San Juan, they will get a bit of extra time to process the  defeat as their next game is a ways off. They'll take on Monte Vista Christian at 4:30  p.m.  on April 1.
