Everything went Jones' way against Liberty Christian Academy as Jones made off with an 11-1 victory. The win continues a trend for the Trojans in their matchups with the Heat: they've now won three in a row.

Payten Plyler was a major factor while hitting and pitching. She looked comfortable on the mound, not allowing a single earned run and allowed only two hits while striking out ten over five innings pitched. She has been consistent recently: she hasn't tossed less than five strikeouts any time she's pitched this season. She was also big at the plate, going a perfect 3-for-3 with three runs, three RBI, and one triple.
In other batting news, Kynlee Whaley was excellent, scoring two runs while going 3-for-4. Another player making a difference was Kayra Dickson, who scored a run while going 1-for-2.
Meanwhile, after soaring to 30 runs the game before, Bethel Christian Academy was a bit more limited in their match on Thursday. They took a 6-1 hit to the loss column at the hands of Wilson Christian Academy.
Bethel Christian Academy saw three different players step up and record at least one hit. One of them was Bailey Smith, who scored a run and stole a base while going 1-for-2.
The victory got Jones back to even at 2-2. As for Bethel Christian Academy, their loss dropped their record down to an identical 2-2.
Friday's game might come down to which pitcher can control the ball better. Jones has hit smart this season, having averaged an OBP of .484. However, it's not like Bethel Christian Academy struggles in that department as they've averaged .616. With both teams so capable at the plate, fans should be ready for an impressive hitting performance.
