Mercy McAuley found their leader in underclassman Ady Kreimer, who scored nine points along with five rebounds and two steals. Another player making a difference was Bella Maxfield, who scored nine points.
Ursuline Academy has traveled a rocky road recently, as they've lost ten of their last 11 games, which put a noticeable dent in their 3-12 record this season. As for Mercy McAuley, their win ended a ten-game drought on the road and puts them at 6-11.
Both squads are looking forward to the support of their home crowds in their upcoming games. Ursuline Academy will take on Mount Notre Dame at 7:00 p.m. on Tuesday. Mount Notre Dame presents a significant challenge as they come into the match much higher ranked than Ursuline Academy in Ohio (Mount Notre Dame is ranked eighth, while Ursuline Academy is ranked 424th). As for Mercy McAuley, they will be playing at home against Seton at 7:30 p.m. on Tuesday.
