Pennsbury extended the longest winning streak in Suburban One - National this week by beating Council Rock North, 35-20. This was the team's fifth consecutive win.
William Tennent took down Harry S. Truman 28-6 last week, the largest margin of any game.
Brandon McIlwain put up the best numbers through the air as the Indians lost to Pennsbury. He finished with 12 completions for 115 yards and one touchdown. McIlwain's favorite target this week was Brandon Knotts, who caught three passes for 34 yards.
Cole Creighton was the best wideout in the league this week as Neshaminy defeated Bensalem. Creighton racked up one reception for 62 yards. Nate Hall helped Neshaminy's passing attack out by catching one ball for 14 yards.
Hall was the most productive running back in the league this week. He ran for 198 yards on 18 carries as the Redskins topped the Fighting Owls. Teammate Jordan Collins added to the ground attack by rushing for 42 yards.
On the ground, Neshaminy's Hall has rushed for 1094 yards which leads the league. The leading receiver in the league this season is Justin Andrews. The Neshaminy star has 23 catches for 382 yards.
Next week's game between Council Rock North and the Tigers will feature a tantalizing aerial matchup as McIlwain tests his arm against Ty Walker's defensive ability. Council Rock North's McIlwain has thrown for 1091 yards and seven touchdowns this year, while Walker has racked up two interceptions for Harry S. Truman.
A big matchup in the league this week will be when Mark Schmidt's team takes on Abington. At the moment, the Redskins are in second, while the Galloping Ghosts are in third.
Neshaminy led the league in scoring this week after putting up 42 points on Bensalem. Hall in the win.
