Mallard Creek had already proven themselves in the regular season and they didn't miss a beat now that it's playoff time. They took their game on Tuesday with ease, bagging a 64-21 win over the Page Pirates. The Mavericks have made a habit of sweeping their opponents off the court, having now won 17 matchups by 23 points or more this season.

Mallard Creek was led to victory by My'Asia Young and Kiara Anderson. Young went 7-for-13 en route to 16 points in addition to six boards and four steals, while Anderson dropped a double-double with 18 points and ten rebounds. Young is on a roll when it comes to steals, as she's now grabbed two or more in each of the last ten games she's played. The team also got some help courtesy of Brianna Easterling, who posted eight points.

Mallard Creek was working as a unit and finished the game with 12 assists. They easily outclassed their opponents in that department as Page only three assists.

Mallard Creek has been performing incredibly well recently as they've won 15 of their last 16 contests. That's provided a nice bump to their 25-3 record this season. Page's loss was their fourth straight on the road, which dropped their record down to 9-17.

Coming up, Mallard Creek will look to defend their home court on Friday against Hickory Ridge at 6:00 p.m. One thing working in Hickory Ridge's favor is that they have posted at least 55 points in their last six games. Page does not have any more games scheduled as of now.
