The John Ehret Patriots suffered their biggest loss yet this season on Monday. They were outmatched by Riverdale on the road and fell 41-12. The result shouldn't come as a shock considering that's the fewest points John Ehret has scored all season.
Multiple players turned in solid performances to lead Riverdale to victory, but perhaps none more so than Maryah Joseph, who scored 11 points along with seven assists and five steals. The team also got some help courtesy of Mazie Parmley, who scored 15 points along with six steals and five rebounds.
John Ehret's loss ended a three-game streak of away wins and brought them to 4-9. As for Riverdale, they pushed their record up to 15-2 with that victory, which was their sixth straight at home.
John Ehret will take on Belle Chasse at 5:00 p.m. on Wednesday. Belle Chasse is coming into the match on a six-game losing streak. As for Riverdale, they will head out on the road to challenge West Jefferson at 5:30 p.m. on Wednesday. West Jefferson will have to bring their A-game into this one, as they are staring down a pretty big deficit in the MaxPreps Louisiana Rankings (they are ranked 341st, while Riverdale is ranked 124th).
