 Teagan Kinney was  his usual excellent self,  dropping  a double-double on 16 points and ten  boards. The  matchup was  his fourth in a row with at least ten points.  Dresden Wood was another key player,  dropping  a double-double on 14  points and 14  rebounds.
 Marsing  smashed the offensive glass and  finished the game with 23  offensive boards. That's the most  offensive rebounds they've managed all season.
 Meanwhile, Nampa Christian hadn't done well against Melba recently (they were 2-7 in their previous nine matchups), but they didn't let the past get in their way  on Wednesday. Nampa Christian came out on top against Melba by a score of  56-47. The  team ran away with 31  points in the first half and mostly just sat on those to pick up the  victory.
 Marsing's record now sits at 7-4. As for Nampa Christian, their record now sits at 5-8.
 Things could have been worse for Marsing, but things could have been a whole lot better as they took  a  62-47 loss to Nampa Christian when the teams last played  back in January of 2024. Can Marsing avenge their  loss or is history doomed to repeat itself? We'll find out soon enough.
