After flying high against Gloria Deo Academy last Tuesday, Bracken Christian came back down to earth. The Bracken Christian Warriors took a 50-42 hit to the loss column at the hands of the Comfort Bobcats/Deer on Thursday. The Warriors' loss signaled the end of their seven-game winning streak.
Bracken Christian's defeat ended a six-game streak of away wins dating back to last season and brought them to 15-3. As for Comfort, the win made it two in a row for them and bumps their season record up to 11-5.
Bracken Christian will get a bit of extra time to process the loss as their next game is a ways off. They'll take on Varsity Opponent at 6:00 p.m. on January 3, 2025. Comfort and Marion will round out the year against one another at at 10:00 a.m. on December 27th.
