The Saratoga Falcons's recent rough patch got a bit rougher on Saturday after their fifth straight loss. They opened the new year with a less-than-successful 51-38 defeat to Los Gatos. The result shouldn't come as a shock considering that's the fewest points Saratoga has scored all season.
Scotty Brennan was his usual excellent self, scoring 15 points along with seven rebounds and three steals for Los Gatos. Brennan has been hot recently, having posted two or more steals the last four times he's played. Nolan G. koch was another key contributor, scoring 12 points along with seven rebounds.
Saratoga bumped their record down to 3-9 with that loss, which was their fourth straight on the road dating back to last season. As for Los Gatos, the win was the third in a row for them, bringing their record for this year to 10-3.
Both squads are looking forward to the support of their home crowds in their upcoming games. Saratoga will take on Homestead at 7:00 p.m. on Tuesday. Homestead is coming into the contest on a three-game losing streak. As for Los Gatos, they will look to defend their home court on Tuesday against Wilcox at 7:00 p.m. Wilcox will have to bring their A-game into this one, as they are staring down a pretty big deficit in the MaxPreps California Rankings (they are ranked 507th, while Los Gatos is ranked 98th).
