The Plymouth Pilgrims/Rockies won the last time they faced the Mishawaka Cavemen, and things went their way on Saturday too. Plymouth put the hurt on Mishawaka with a sharp 55-35 win. The victory made it back-to-back wins for Plymouth.
Plymouth's success was the result of a balanced attack that saw several players step up, but Sophie Miller led the charge by scoring 15 points. Miller continues to roll, besting her previous point total in each of the last three games she's played. The team also got some help courtesy of Rylee Mann, who scored 13 points.
The win got Plymouth back to even at 8-8. As for Mishawaka, they have not been sharp recently, as they've lost seven of their last nine contests, which put a noticeable dent in their 10-8 record this season.
Plymouth will be playing at home against La Porte at 7:30 p.m. on Tuesday. La Porte is hoping to put an end to a seven-game streak of away losses. As for Mishawaka, they will head out on the road to face off against Warsaw at 7:30 p.m. on Wednesday. Warsaw presents a significant challenge as they come into the match much higher ranked than Mishawaka in Indiana (Warsaw is ranked 60th, while Mishawaka is ranked 228th).
